Questions
Do I buy the token of the monster I catch?
No. Catching is a game action with balls; it never buys anything. Your monster keeps the market cap it had at your catch, and levels up as that token grows.
Where do the monsters come from?
New launches come live from Pons, established coins from DexScreener, legendaries from Robinhood's stock tokens. The wild reshuffles every 90 seconds and is the same for every trainer.
Where does each monster live?
In its own habitat. Water species swim in Crystal Lake, Poison, Dark and Ghost species haunt Whisper Woods, Fire, Rock and Dragon species roam Ember Crater, Ice and Steel species live on Frost Peak, Psychic, Electric and Fighting species hide in the Sunstone Ruins, and Route 1 has the everyday ones. The stock-token legendaries only appear on Legend Summit. Open the map (M) to fly from place to place.
How rare is each species?
Every species has a tier: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and the Legendaries. Commons are everywhere and easy to catch; Rares and Epics are much less frequent, hide deep in their habitat, only show themselves when you are close, flee more often and resist your balls. A token past $1M counts one tier higher. The Dex lists all of them, from the rarest to the most common.
Are the monsters taken from another game?
No. PokeGrass has its own species, designed for the game: 26 evolution lines, 78 forms and 15 stock-token legendaries.
Where does the money spent in the game go?
Into $POKEGRASS, and nothing else. Mart items are paid in $POKEGRASS and burned; ETH purchases buy $POKEGRASS on the market and burn it; prizes are $POKEGRASS bought back with the creator fees. No other token, no side wallet.
What is $POKEGRASS used for?
Everything. The Mart (balls, Rare Radar, Lure, Shiny Charm, Summit Pass, Revive, Safari Pass) is paid in $POKEGRASS and every payment is burned. Holding it gives ranks with daily balls, early grass, better shiny odds, a league-points bonus, a permanent Radar and free entry to Legend Summit, and it makes your wallet eligible for the real prizes.
What do levels mean?
Level 5 at your catch, then +13 for every doubling of the market cap since. A monster whose token loses most of its value faints.
Does the route change at night?
Yes. Route 1 follows your own clock: sunrise, day, sunset and a moonlit night with fireflies and a campfire. From Oct 24 to Nov 2 it is Ghost Week: the tokens that fainted on the chart come back to haunt the grass as ghosts, and they count double in the weekly league.
Can I play without a wallet?
Yes. You get a guest trainer with free balls. Connect a wallet any time and your Box moves over.
What can I win for real?
$POKEGRASS, every week: a pot shared by the top 10 of the weekly league, the catch of the week, the daily Golden PokeGrass jackpot, Dex milestones, discoverer bounties and legendary catches. Prizes go to wallets holding at least 250,000 $POKEGRASS, and every payment is public on the Rewards page with its transaction.
Where do the prizes come from?
From the creator fees the $POKEGRASS pool earns on every trade: the team uses them to buy $POKEGRASS on the market and sends it to the winners. Every prize is a buyback of the token. A weekly pot sets the total, so prizes keep going every week.
